Remarkable Services provides psychotherapy to children, teenagers, adults, couples, and families. Our mental health support teams are located throughout California.

Remarkable Services, at its core, is a Training Institute. Our methodized approach to training, ingrained in our culture, imparts cultural humility, strong morals, ethics and knowledge. Our experienced Clinical Supervisory Team provides direction and aids in guiding pre-licensed professions in finding a deeper sense of purpose through their Associateship. RS feels a great responsibility for training and preparing them for the future. We provide quality clinical supervision and place immense attention on promoting a positive relationship between supervisors and associates through coaching, consulting, Mentoring, Evaluating and supporting in a team-minded approach.

Remarkable Services Programs

Behavioral Health Recovery Services (BHRS) of San Mateo
Criteria/population: Specialty mental health services are those that are provided to the seriously mentally ill (SMI) and seriously emotionally disturbed (SED) populations.
Serves children, adolescents, and adults.
Contra Costa (CC)
Criteria/Population: Mental health services for both the mild-moderate and moderate-to-severe populations.
Serves children, adolescents, and adults.
Health Plan of San Mateo (HPSM)
Criteria/Population: Mental health services for mild to moderate populations.
Serves children, adolescents, and adults.
Care Solace
Criteria/Population: Mental health services for mild-moderate students.
Serves children and adolescents (K–12th grade).
Veteran’s Care Agreement (VCA)
Criteria/Population: Veterans and active-duty full-time service members of all ages residing in California.
Serves adults only.
Spartan Support: Stay Tuned for the planned grand opening in late 2023.
Criteria/Population: Reserves, National Guard, State Guard, and any servicemember who served and does not meet criteria for the VA, residing in California.
High School Programs
The mission of Remarkable’s School-Based Counseling Program is to provide a safe and restorative setting for students to face their challenges, increase awareness of the prevalence of mental health wellness issues in our communities, heal trauma and honor culture through mental health counseling and training. The goal is to further client welfare for children and families and to support the professional and personal development of pre-licensed counselors.
Through our onsite (currently virtual) school-based counseling program and our structured, evidence based and comprehensive training and supervision of future mental health professionals, we at Remarkable Services (RS) take pride in serving as a community advocate and resource for our children, families and school districts’ staff.
The three main tenants of RS are: Children, Trauma and Training. We provide mental health services to children who are affected by trauma and provide quality training and supervision to license-eligible behavioral health graduates registered in California (Associate Marriage and Family Therapists (AMFTS), Associate Clinical Social Worker (ACSW), and registered Psychological Assistants (PA).

Now more than ever, our children are facing unprecedented factors affecting their mental health. Things that used to be predictable and they could count on and look forward to are no longer clear. Our children and families are experiencing unparalleled levels of social anxiety, generalized anxiety, depression, problematic substance use, isolation, academic struggles, ADHD and more. Support systems have been dislocated significantly and through our School-Based Counseling program, our staff is working tirelessly to keep your kids and families minds and bodies healthy.
