About Me

At the center of the human experience lie the stories we tell about ourselves and those we tell about others. Stories have the power to move us in remarkable ways. They teach us about life and love and show us how joy and pain coexist. They remind us of the resiliency we possess to overcome suffering. They can help us keep our faith, or they can evoke fear. Stories may leave our minds but overstay their welcome in our bodies. Sometimes, detaching from the stories that no longer serve us feels impossible, as they often keep us somehow safe.

Together, we can explore and unpack your own beautiful, sometimes messy, unique life story so you get to be the author of the part that is still unwritten.

I believe therapy gives us tools to create the life story we want to tell and that it often starts with unlearning the ways we’ve learned to hide our authentic selves. Yes, therapy can help us plan for the future, but it can also take us on a journey home to the truest version of ourselves. The therapeutic partnership I seek to develop with clients is grounded in trust, compassion, and honoring the essential human need to feel seen and supported.

I work with adolescents and their families, couples, and individuals. As an integrated therapist, I use many therapeutic modalities depending on client needs. I practice through a strength-based, culturally humble, client-centered lens and remind myself often that my clients are the authors of their own stories.
